Junior Architects — Stage 1
Theme: Engineering with magnetic tiles
Length: 90 minutes | Max children: 40 | Age: 5+
Overview: JC Ingenium brings thousands of Magblox® for a 90-minute hands-on session where children build 3D magnetic structures, learn basic engineering and spatial concepts, and develop teamwork by combining builds into one large final project.
What we provide: All Magblox® materials and instructors.
What you need: Large indoor space (school hall/gym) and one large table.
Urban Makers — Stage 2
Theme: Engineering with magnetic tiles, non-digital coding & circuits
Length: 90 minutes | Max children: 40 | Age: 5+
Overview: Build on Junior Architects with hands-on civil engineering and sustainable city design. Children use Magblox® magnetic tiles, Intelino® non-digital coding trains, and RoboTami circuit kits to design buildings, bridges, roads and simple electrical circuits—then combine projects into a shared cityscape.
What we provide: Magblox®, Intelino® Train sets, RoboTami kits, instructors and facilitation.
What you need: Large indoor space (school hall/gym) and one large table.
RoboRookies – Stage 1/2
Theme: Introduction to Robotics
Length: 120 minutes | Max children: 25 | Age: 6+
Overview: Hands-on coding & robotics sessions where children build and program robots to move, react and complete challenges. Activities develop design, engineering, coding, problem-solving, teamwork and creativity while aligning to STEAM outcomes. Reflection and recap consolidate learning.
Stage details:
- Stage 1: Screen-free or simple block-based tools — storytelling, sequencing, hands-on play (no devices required).
- Stage 2: Block-based programming with increasing complexity — laptops/tablets required.
What we provide: Robotics kits, controllers, curriculum, instructors, facilitation, and optional portable Wi‑Fi.
What you need: Classroom with tables & chairs (projector optional). For Stage 2: laptops/tablets (organisers may supply or JC Ingenium can provide), power access. JC Ingenium can bring portable Wi‑Fi if needed.
